Selenite, sometimes also called satin spar, is a variety of gypsum that tends to grow either in long fibrous or flat plate-like crystals, which can result in opaque or translucent pieces. An extremely soft mineral, selenite will often contain small inclusions of other minerals or internal cleaving where different crystal shapes meet.

Orgonite is a man-made material composed of resin, metal shavings, and crystals. These components are mixed and poured into molds, then allowed to harden.
