Pink amethyst is a special variety of quartz found primarily in Argentina. Where amethyst contains iron impurities, pink amethyst instead contains large hematite inclusions that give it a distinct pink-rose color. Raw pink amethyst can also contain other colors like brown or green depending on inclusions of other trace minerals or oxidized metals.

A beautiful display piece

I just love my pink amethyst with stand
It looks great with my other amethyst pieces and gives my collection that something special. Just a stunning slab.

Beautiful pieces but not very sturdy on stand. One of the two I received came broken where the stand goes but I managed to turn it sideways on the stand. Kind of wonky but it’s holding it.
