Melody stone also know as Super 7 is a variety of amethyst that contains a unique variety of inclusions and banding. The main body of the stone is formed from interwoven growths of amethyst, rock crystal quartz, and smoky quartz. These growths will also contain inclusions of hematite and goethite, leading to yellow-orange and red spots or bands.
