Occasionally found under the trade name anyolite, ruby zoisite is a composite stone formed from three different gemstones that grew around and within one another. Most of the stone is made of lighter green zoisite, a kind of epidote, and darker green and black pargasite, a complex silicon-based gemstone. The smaller rose-red inclusions are ruby corundum.
