Kyanite is an aluminum-rich crystal that forms on metamorphic rock under extremely high pressure. Its distinctive blue color comes from iron and titanium, and some pieces with trace amounts of manganese can turn orange instead.
Mica refers to a group of silicate minerals that tend to form in flexible or brittle layers. These layers often form as large unbroken sheets within other rock deposits, or as small reflective flakes in igneous or metamorphic stones like granite or lepidolite. Muscovite mica, the most common variety, tends to be colorless or yellow-grey in color, but it can also turn green if tinted with chromium.
Handmade items vary in size, shape, and color when selected randomly (the highest quality items are chosen first). They'll be as beautiful as those in the photos.
