Coral

Corals are marine invertebrates within the class Anthozoa of the phylum Cnidaria. They typically form compact colonies of many identical individual polyps. Fossil coral is a natural gemstone that is created when prehistoric coral is gradually replaced with agate. The fossil coral forms through hardened deposits left by silica-rich waters.
