The particular variety of feldspar known as labradorite takes its name from the Labrador region of Canada, and is most commonly used in designer jewelry and, somewhat less glamorously, in making glass and ceramics. While not all labradorite has the signature shimmer known as labradorescence, it is considered a highly desirable feature and can appear in an entire rainbow of colors.
I ordered 2 kilo lot. They are nice rough if you tumble polish them or if you collect rough stones. They have beautiful colors including yellows, blues from electric blue to pale blue, green, pink, purple, orange and red. Pretty much every color there is honestly in labradorite. I prefer bigger much bigger stones for lapidary purposes for slabs or jewelry pieces. Thats why I didn’t rate them 5 stars. I would not recommend for jewelry
