Strawberry Quartz

For Strawberry Quartz to be formed we need silicon and oxygen rich water to gather into the cracks. In addition elements of iron oxide or hematite are present and with the right amount of time and pressure a quartz crystal is formed. The hematite within the crystal will slowly turn red or pink or even orange.
