Hackmanite is a rare sulfur-bearing member in the sodalite family of gemstones. Often found underground in a rainbow of colors, exposure to sunlight quickly turns the stone a dusky grey-white color. Originally discovered in Greenland, hackmanite can also be found as far away as Canada, Norway, and Russia.
