While not all labradorite has the signature shimmer known as labradorescence, it is considered a highly desirable feature and can appear in an entire rainbow of colors.

Pretty Towers, but...

I was so excited to see labradorite towers on the website! I ordered two pounds. I've been shopping with CRG for quite a while, and have very rarely been more than slightly disappointed with anything. These towers were not at all what I was expecting. Several of them seemed beat up, as in lots of chips and cracks--beyond what you would normally expect. Also, that they were titled "flashy" was a let down. While many of them do have some flash, they aren't all that special. Sadly, two of the towers I received had no flash at all. ☹️ I'm going to chalk it up to one unhappy event and continue shopping with CRG because I know this is NOT the norm.
