Gator heads are bound to be a popular conversation piece in your home! The American alligator is farm raised throughout the Southeast, bringing economic value as well as a food source and leather goods. Alligators in the wild are protected through state and federal wildlife management programs and are now plentiful in the wetland marshes.
* FYI - Alligator size can be measured by the size of their heads.
If the head is 6 inches from between the eyes to the tip of their snout,
that alligator was probably about 6 feet long.
